The 1200m2 Lime Yellow tiles surrounding this tropical paradise were advised and delivered locally by the Belgian Stone Consulting, directly mined and shipped from its quarry in Indian Tandur, and expertly placed by the Dutch Stam & de Lange. INDIAN LIME YELLOW

"Because the stone surface of the Lime Yellow has an aged finish, it creates an authentic atmosphere and, moreover, makes the surface sober. This seemed to be our ideal setting for swimming pools and their surrounding terraces."

DUTCH EXPERTISE VERSUS CARIBBEAN PRECISION

"6 bricklayers worked for 2 months to install the floors, the pool edges and the staircases in this beautiful Lime Yellow. The plates were calibrated at 20mm thickness, and the tiles were connected in small romance with the sizes 20x20cm, 20x40cm, 40x40cm and 40x60cm were combined. When it turned out that the pool edge as well as the expanded dimensions around the pools did not match the size of the plan, we were forced to improvise and appeal to our years of craftsmanship, "says Erwin. "This meant that we had to grind and sand the stones again, cut, sand and aging.
